  • For those living with diabetes, Operation D.E.T.E.C.T. partners with physicians and their patients to create a trusted relationship designed to address diabetes-related issues.  A clinical pharmacist and trained wellness coaches provide patients with assistance in managing their medication therapy, understanding diabetes self- management skills and interpreting diagnostic tests.

  • Through our Sugar Busters classes and Diabetes Bingo, patients learn critical information about the importance of managing diabetes to avoid kidney failure, blindness, heart disease and possible amputation.  Working with wellness coaches, patients are monitored on the frequency of blood glucose testing, hemoglobin A1C testing, referrals for eye and foot exams, insulin and oral hypoglycemic use, body mass index, lipid management, physical activity and their blood pressure.
